For Short Stories
1. Do NOT include your name on the story.
2. Save your story with the story title as the file name. Use a clear font such as Arial or Times New Roman, size 12 or 14. It needs to be clear and easy to read. No fancy fonts or unusual sizes.
3. Save your story as a .doc, .docx or .pdf file to our email. DO NOT SEND a google doc.
4. Complete the festival submission form. Note: Writers do not need to complete the Artist's Statement section.
5. Email your story and the submission form to youthimaginefuture@gmail.com by Oct 31st. We will let you know if we got your email. If you don't hear from us within 2 days, please email again.
For Visual Art
1. Take a clear photograph of your artwork. If the art is 3-D, take a few photos from different angles.
2. Complete the festival submission form. Make sure to include the Artist's Statement section.
3. Email the photos of your art and the submission form to youthimaginefuture@gmail.com by Oct. 31st. We will let you know if we got your email. If you don't hear from us within 2 days, please email again. If you need a day or two extra, email us.
4. Arrange for your art to go to the Art Gallery in Kingston. Ask your teacher to contact the festival to arrange for a pick-up, or deliver your art to Queen's University McArthur Hall Art Gallery., Kingston, on -- (date still unknown. ). Do NOT drop your art off at any other time.
