A community of friends is touching up a moss mural on their shared house. Moss spores are blended into the paint. Notice clay walls, solar panels (traditional & AuReus) , green roof, & local grass species with wildflowers and clover.

Taylor Saunders

Third Place

"During the pandemic... the planet began to bounce back...The River Ganges ran clean...ocean life saw recovery with reduced traffic, turtles returned to beaches to lay eggs, people played instruments together on balconies...The insert shows  (how)... we could build a better future using natural resources..."

US VS THE FUTURE

Ella Macauley

Fourth Place

These figures represent the earth in greens and blues, and the climate in reds and oranges. This piece shows a transition from an out of control and polluted situation, to one in which both climate and earth have been restored and live in harmony.

THE LIGHT TO COME

Chloe Meyer

Fifth Place

THE FUTURE OF TURTLE ISLAND
